ROANOKE, Ind. – A northern Indiana coroner said a man and a woman found dead in a mobile home died as a result of a murder-suicide.
Huntington County Coroner Leon Hurlburt said autopsies showed that 26-year-old Jeremy Stroh shot 25-year-old Nicole Scheiber several times before he fatally shot himself.
Police found their bodies Thursday morning after receiving a call for a welfare check on the couple who lived at a mobile home park in Roanoke about 110 miles north of Indianapolis.
