The IU Kelley School of Business and Ernst & Young will have a press conference today announcing a $500,000 donation to the school for diversity initiatives.
The press conference is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. today in the Godfrey Graduate and Executive Education Center, according to an IU press release.
Ernst & Young gave the school the donation to the school to fund programs that would attract diverse students.
“We believe that to remain competitive, it is vital that business schools – and corporations – strive to gain the full measure of creativity and thought leadership that comes from diverse perspectives and inclusive environments,” said James Turley, chairman and chief executive officer of Ernst & Young in a IU press release.
The donation will fund programs within the school such as the Junior Executive Institute, Kelley Direct Admit Day, Kelley Experience Weekends and the Business Living Learning Center Professional Development Series, according to an IU press release.
