CLARKSVILLE, Ind. — State police raided a Clarksville apartment Tuesday, arresting three men they say were involved in a counterfeit identification ring.
Acting on a tip, police raided an apartment where they found dozens of fake ID cards.
They also found a computer, a digital camera, DVDs and other items police say were used to make fake IDs.
Police arrested Antonio Romero, Alejandro Salazar Romero, and Romelio Morales-Catarino. Each was charged with forgery.
Morales-Catarino was also charged with resisting law enforcement and criminal recklessness after state police say he fled from officers. He was later captured.
All three were released from the Clark County Jail, Antonio Romero and Alejandro Salazar Romero on their own recognizance and Morales-Catarino on $1000 bond. None of the three could be contacted for comment as there were no numbers in their names in published listings.
