More students flock to Career center for help

A slumbering economy has brought more students to the IU Career Development Center seeking assistance.

The center will present a workshop titled “Interviewing 101” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the center, which sits on the corner of 10th Street and Jordan Avenue. The Center will present another workshop, “Resume Writing 101,” Thursday.

“The number of students coming in for advising appointments has skyrocketed,” said Joe Lovejoy, graduate assistant at the Career Development Center.

“Interviewing 101” will also be presented March 4 and April 1. “Resume Writing 101” will have encores March 5 and April 2.
