Dawn Johnsen, the IU Maurer School of Law professor, is having her confirmation hearing today for the post of associate attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel by President Barack Obama.
Johnsen was nominated to the post in January, according to an IU press release.
Johnsen served as acting assistant attorney general heading the Office of Legal Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice for President Bill Clinton, according to the press release. She joined the IU faculty in 1998.
