IU Center for Urban Policy and Environment to receive $2 million from Lilly Endowment

The IU Center for Urban Policy and Environment  will receive $2 million from Lilly Endowment Inc. during the next three years, IU President Michael McRobbie announced today.

The Center's work with the IU Public Policy Institute will benefit from this award, according to an IU press release. The Center for Urban Policy and the Environment is one of three research centers working with the Indianapolis-based IU Public Policy Institute, including the Center for Health Policy and the Center for Criminal Justice Research.

The IU Center for Urban Policy and the Environment works with state and local governments, community leaders and organizations and business and civic organizations to establish policy issues, analyze options and develop strategic plans for handling challenges, according to an IU press release.
