Artist: Coldyplay featuring Jay-Z
Song: “Lost+”
“Lost+” is the first track to be released from Coldplay’s upcoming Prospekt’s March EP. The song is a remix of “Lost!” with a guest spot from Jay-Z. It’s an interesting idea, but the verse seems a little forced and up to par with neither the original song nor Jay-Z’s standards.

Song: “Space Bible with Volume Lumps”
Eerie techno sounds fill “Space Bible with Volume Lumps,” the only pre-album release off the Flaming Lips’ DVD/CD Christmas on Mars. Mostly, high-pitched trumpets blast through twinkling beeps, but occasionally a girl screams in the background, making me wonder whether the movie is also this creepy.

Song: “Non-Dairy Creamer”
The newest track from everyone’s favorite late-’90s band takes a more political slant than we’re used to, but the catchy chorus is still there. “Non-Dairy Creamer” attacks the Republican Party with not-so-subtle metaphors that are obnoxious. Even so, the off-kilter lyrics stick in your head long enough that it’s easy to remember why this band was huge in the first place.
