Off with heads, on with greatness

Kaiser Chiefs have delivered yet another strong album.

Kaiser Chiefs’ new album came from the intention to record two or three songs, but as luck would have it, the production just kept on going.

And thankfully they did.

The Chiefs are on a roll with the worldwide release of their new album Off with Their Heads via Motown Records.

With award winning producer Mark Ronson and up-and-coming Eliot James as co-producer, this is the perfect chance for the band to make an impression on the international scene.

This indie rock group from Leeds, England, has concocted an assortment of energetic and up-tempo songs for this album, which makes the music sound much more up-beat and happier than almost all of their previous releases.

Although the lyrics are usually simple, they are used to create impressive rhythms as in “Like It Too Much.” This ability to turn lyrics into rhythm is central to the music Kaiser Chiefs create.

The defining song of this album is the first single “Never Miss a Beat,” featuring a catchy but simple rock tune and a bizarre video of gangs of school kids with costumes that range from face paint to animal masks to go with it.

With star producers behind it and music that is easy to dance to, the record is well worth the buy.If you really like this album I suggest catching them live while they hit the three major cities in the U.S. because with so many places to go they won’t be staying on this continent for long.
