Campus streets packed for move-in day

Vehicles slowly flow east on 10th Street on Wednesday near the intersection with Sunrise Drive. Traffic along 10th Street was backed up much of the morning and early afternoon as students and parents made their way to IU for move in day.

Chaos and traffic lined up along the busy streets of campus as freshmen move in Wednesday.

IU Police Department steadily directed traffic and pedestrians to their destinations as students and family unpacked their belongings.

Freshman move-in is just the beginning of Welcome Week, followed by the Freshman Induction Ceremony, Culture Fest, Taste of Union and many other events around campus.
