It’s a familiar problem in the late hours of the night: a big hunger craving and your favorite restaurant is closed. But whether coming from the bars or looking for a late-night snack, Bloomington offers many restaurants that serve delicious food well into the night. Here are a few options:

Baked! Of Bloomington

Closes:
Sunday through Wednesday – 2 a.m.; Thursday through Saturday – 4 a.m.

Where: 113 W. Seventh St.

For that late-night sweet tooth, Baked! offers more than 20,000 cookies, milk and merchandise available for pickup or delivery. Business student Jared Schneider opened the store to fill the late-night sugar cravings of fellow students. Using the finest ingredients, all dough is made in the shop.

Customers can choose from a variety of sugar, oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate and any candy mix-ins to make their own specialized cookies. The store has a three-cookie minimum for pickup and an $8 minimum for delivery.

Baked!’s signature combos are the “Hot Box” special, which includes a baker’s dozen cookies, two pints of milk, as well as a “Munchie Special,” which includes six cookies and one pint of milk.

The restaurant is family friendly, with indoor and outdoor seating. Depending on the day, the restaurant usually remains busy throughout the night, Wolf said. Dinner specials vary through the summer. Entrees are served until 10 p.m., but salads and sandwiches are served until close.

Pizza lovers can check out Rockits, which serves pizza by the slice for those in need of a snack as well as whole pizza for dine-in, pickup and delivery. Located next to the Bluebird, patrons can customize their own pizzas or order some of “Rockits’ Famous Combinations,” which are named after influential musical artists like “the Supremes,” “the Ramones” and “Jimi Hendrix.”

Marion Casanova, owner of Rockits, has run the family business for about 20 years after he purchased it from its previous owners. Casanova said his homemade sauce makes his pizza so popular. The menu also includes vegan options, chicken wings and the usual favorites – cheese and pepperoni.
