IU should honor Knight

It’s time IU makes its peace with Bobby Knight. Perhaps no single person contributed as much to IU as did coach Knight. Three national championships aside, his tireless fundraising efforts for the library and other good deeds that made thousands of students and citizens of Indiana deeply admire him are cause enough to bring Coach back home for a celebration in his honor at Assembly Hall. The present IU administration has no tie to the past administration. Put the ego aside. Good leadership would require those who understand and respect our university’s history to figure out a business-like solution to any outstanding issues with Coach, and to welcome him back and congratulate him for an exemplary lifetime coaching career.
