Be kind to Ratliff

Why does the staff at the IDS always have to bash A.J. Ratliff? Whenever his name is in the paper that is all that is said about him. Nothing good can be said, just all bad? I thought that Indiana was a basketball state and IU basketball was legendary? Then why bash him all the time? That is all I want answered. I mean, you are bashing him for academic ineligibility, then harassing him for his ankle problems and then because he is having personal issues. Why can’t you just leave the kid alone? I have had class with the kid a few times and he is a good person, but all you people do is make him look like an awful human being, which he is not. Damn, just leave the kid alone. He is here working at getting a college degree and playing basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers, which I do not think any of you at the IDS could do.\nI’m just sick and tired of this bullshit.
