I’m not sure if you’ve heard or not, but the two best teams in the league are playing this weekend.\nEvery squad around the league has figured out who they are at this point, and it would be foolish not to call this the mother of all games. So far, no one seems even close to these teams, and it seems inevitable that they will meet again on championship weekend.\nIt’s safe to say that this is the game we’ve all been waiting for: My fantasy team, the Fantasy Lovers, is pitted against the other juggernaut, T. Overdose.\nHow can you not get excited about the ultimate match-up this week? I mean, I have Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Joseph Addai and Reggie Wayne. These guys should destroy T. Overdose. In his defense, he’s got Tony Romo, LaDainian Tomlinson and Edgerrin James, but I don’t even think it will be close this weekend. The one player that scares me is New England wide receiver Wes Welker, because if Brady throws him a couple touchdowns, it negates any points I would earn.\nWho doesn’t love hearing about the best fantasy match-up of all-time? Think about it. How often do you get to see two giants at the top of their games battle it out for statistical supremacy? The talking heads might be spouting off about some contest on Sunday between two undefeated “real” teams, but fantasy players around the world know that the only game that matters this weekend will be played on a computer screen in Bloomington. Who cares about the Colts and the Patriots? The mainstream media is ignoring the biggest game of the season.\nOh, and for what it’s worth, I’ll take the Colts by a touchdown. Go horse.\nWeek eight studs:\nJoseph Addai, running back, Indianapolis Colts – A casual 100 yards rushing and three total touchdowns for the former LSU Tiger against a Panther team who is in desperate need of getting quarterback Jake Delhomme back. \nDrew Brees, quarterback, New Orleans Saints – After being flat-out terrible this season, Brees recovered well this week with a 336-yard, four-touchdown performance against the San Francisco 49ers.\nTwo to start:\nBraylon Edwards, wide receiver, Cleveland Browns – In his past two games, Edwards has amassed a total of five touchdowns and 184 yards receiving. His opponents, the Seattle Seahawks, are 16th in the league in pass defense. Look for Edwards to have a monster week.\nChris Chambers, wide receiver, San Diego Chargers – Chambers hasn’t been all that productive this season, yet his numbers have improved since a week-six trade brought him from Miami to San Diego. This week, the Chargers face Minnesota, who is third in the league in rush defense and last in the league in pass defense. Look for Chambers to explode on Sunday.\nOne to sit:\nAdrian Peterson, running back, Minnesota Vikings – Although Peterson was named the full-time starter, San Diego’s run defense is top notch. As a team, the Chargers have been rolling the last three weeks. Look for Peterson, the NFL’s leading rusher, to have a subpar week against San Diego’s front seven.\nOn the wire:\nRyan Grant, running back, Green Bay Packers – On Monday night, Grant earned himself 22 touches for 104 yards. Even though Green Bay has one of the worst rushing offenses in the league, it’s hard to ignore a guy who bursts onto the scene and earns that kind of playing time. Pick up Grant.
