9/11 must be discussed

I am quite tired of hearing mindless cries from those who wrongly think themselves most qualified to talk about 9/11. The IDS was absolutely not in bad taste to question the official line on 9/11 on its anniversary. There isn’t any better day to do it. Since 9/11 has been the official justification of everything from the disastrous war in Iraq (by the way, for the millionth time, Iraq had nothing to do 9/11), to the curtailment of our rights thanks to the USA PATRIOT Act, to a recent bit of absurdity – the reason why Rudy Giuliani took a phone call from his wife during the middle of a speech to the NRA in D.C. – it seems more reasonable to doubt the official account of that terrible day than to believe it. To all you 9/11-skeptic-skeptics, let me pose a frank, simple question: Who benefited most from it?
