Bloomington Police are still looking for a man who assaulted a woman after she ran a red light at the intersection of Third Street and Pete Ellis Drive Monday night said BPD Detective Sgt. Jeff Canada. \nThe 21-year-old driver said she was crossing the intersection on Pete Ellis Drive when she unintentionally ran the red light shortly after 9:30 p.m., Canada said, reading from the report. The woman had just pulled into a McDonald's drive-through when a dark colored vehicle came and parked in front of her, he said. \nA man, who the woman described as a white middle-aged man with slicked back hair, got out of the car and began cussing and yelling at her for running the light, Canada said. He then began to hit her in the face. The woman complained of pain but did not go to the hospital. The man sped away, and police were called to the area but could not locate him, Canada said.\nPolice are still investigating the case using the man's license plate number as well as surveillance cameras from the drive-through.
