A Bloomington North High School senior caught his hand in a meat grinder Monday night while working at Kroger, 1175 S. College Mall Road, a firefighter said. His hand was stuck for at least 30 minutes.\nEmployees said he was trying to unclog the machine when he accidentally hit the lever or shifted the blades. They said they heard him screaming from the accident. Bloomington Fire Department Battalion Chief Rick Betermichel, said when rescuers arrived, the employee's hand was already stuck in the grinder and that he probably broke his hand. Betermichel could not release the name of the individual but said he was calm during the incident.
