With four awards, including Division B first place winner and overall winner, Delta Gamma and Sigma Nu were the victors in the 74th Annual IU Sing, "Legends: Music that Defined a Nation."\n"Oh my gosh, you guys," said Kelly Jones, a Delta Gamma song leader. "I can't believe we just won all of that."\nDelta Gamma and Sigma Nu beat 20 acts for the honors during Saturday night's awards ceremony for IU Sing. The two-night event featured 42 fraternities and sororities, Collins Living-Learning \nCenter and the Army ROTC. Six emcees and six dancers performed between the acts.\nFive judges scored the competitors on musicality, choreography and staging.\n"We knew we had a good act, but we kept hearing good things about others," said Taylor Morton, Delta Gamma song leader. "My friends said they never heard our name come up."\nOther winners included Delta Delta Delta and Delta Upsilon, Division B second place; Alpha Phi and Zeta Beta Tau, Division A first place; and Chi Omega and Delta Tau Delta, Division A second place.\nAfter everyone else left the stage Jones, Morton and Sigma Nu song leaders Erik Thybony and David Wiley examined their trophies and reflected upon their win.\n"Our walk on was good but not perfect," Jones said of rehearsals. "We hit everything tonight."
