WEEKLY RANT

IU's game against Minnesota was the most heartless, uninspired and downright despicable performance I have ever witnessed. This team has no guts, no drive, no desire and definitely no heart. Jeremy Webster
Senior I liked the article ("Plenty of gripes on an ugly night," Jan. 25), but have to point out one thing. I, too, do not like the recent influx of crowds storming the floor after a home victory. The sad thing is, this epidemic has made its way to our own Assembly Hall. The first thing I saw after we beat Illinois was our students rushing the floor and I commented, "Why are we rushing the floor? We just beat an overrated team that is a shell of itself from last year and we're at home!" Let's hope this doesn't continue and we start acting like we're supposed to win those games. Tom Newton Why would people that are supposed to be IU fans boo one of their own players? Particularly one who tries as hard as Sean Kline does. As an out-of-state alum, I am embarrassed over this behavior. Whatever can be done to stop and discourage this behavior should be done. I am very disturbed that fans are booing Sean Kline in Assembly Hall. This behavior is a disgrace to Hoosier fans all over the country. Please let Sean Kline and your readers know that 99.99 percent of true IU fans support Sean Kline and appreciate his contributions to IU over the last five years. Gary Crawford
