British hope gristle burger will help change kids' eating habits

It's been estimated that roughly 444,000 more children in the United Kingdom will become overweight or obese in the next two years. So the British Heart Foundation has responded by launching a campaign to try and shock children into eating healthy foods. \nThe campaign, called Food4Thought, will show kids what disgusting things go into their hotdogs, chicken nuggets and burgers in the hopes they'll stop eating junk food. In one advertisement is a picture of a juicy hamburger packed with bits of bone and gristle. \nA BHF survey found 36 percent of 8- to 14-year-olds didn't know chips were made primarily from potatoes. A BFH spokesman said children no longer understand what they are eating, a problem the campaign aims to remedy.
