Fifty-two minutes and 11 seconds into Sunday's match, the IU women's soccer team and the Bowling Green State University Falcons were tied at zero. Eighteen seconds later, the Hoosiers had scored two goals and taken a 2-0 lead.\nIU held on for the win, its second of the weekend after beating Butler University, 2-1. The two wins move the Hoosiers to over .500 (4-3-1) as they enter Big Ten play next weekend.\n"Getting the two wins was the primary goal this weekend," said head coach Mick Lyon. "I feel like we're in a good rhythm heading into Big Ten action next week."\nThe Hoosiers struck early in the second half, with senior Robin Barker scoring off a corner kick from freshman Molly Kruger.\n"Molly lobbed a perfect ball from the corner and the ball found the back of the net," Barker said.\nJust 18 seconds later, junior Megan Pipkens scored when sophomore Lindsay McCarthy found her as Pipkens broke away from the pack.\n"McCarthy found a small slot and passed the ball through it," Pipkens said. "I just finished the play off."\nOn Friday, IU gained its first win of the weekend against Butler. Sophomore Kristen Radcliffe and senior Kristen Zmijewski scored one goal each, meaning the Hoosiers' four goals this weekend were scored by different players.\nThe Hoosiers' offense looked more agressive this weekend, recording 27 shots on goal against Bowling Green.\n"It's good that we had so many opportunities," Lyon said. "However, in Big Ten play we have to capitalize on more of them."\nThe Hoosiers go back on the road next weekend to play No. 3 Penn State Friday followed by a match up with Minnesota Sunday.
