Columnist owes all of Bloomington an apology

I wanted to express my aversion toward the absurd column, "To the remaining, b-ware" article in the May 12 IDS. I do not believe Matt Glenesk has any clue what Bloomington natives are truly about. I do not see how it is acceptable to completely bash the so-called "townies" as Mr. Glenesk did. \nI have lived in Bloomington my entire life, and graduated from IU and do not a) own a truck b) spend my free time at Wal-Mart c) have a mullet d) chew tobacco or e) believe Target is the height of sophistication. His claims of what Bloomington natives are truly like were completely unfounded and simply ill-mannered. May I suggest he get to know someone who is a "townie" and get his arrogant head out of his ass! I strongly suggest an apology is due to the people of Bloomington.
