The organization will use the shows at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater to promote the grants. \n"What we do know is that we will have the resources to create five short films over the next year; what we don't know is who the director or actors will be, nor where the screenplay is coming from," said Festival Director Nicholas Mason. "The first thing one needs when creating a short film is a script, and the first two shows of this six-month series are designed to encourage anyone who has an idea to write it down."\nThe festival has set up a link on its Web site, www.MSfilmfest.com, called "Scripts & Screenplays" and is inviting film-lovers in Indiana to submit a brief synopsis of their idea through this link. A monthly newsletter will be e-mailed to filmmakers containing the synopsis and contact information of the screenwriter.
