For those "American Idol" fanatics and die-hard Clay Aiken fans, his debut CD is a definite must-have. \nIn Measure of a Man, Aiken proves he is more than just an "American Idol" runner-up. \nHis first single "Invisible," is one of the two up-tempo songs on his debut album. "Invisible" has a catchy chorus and introduces Aiken to a more "pop" sound, despite Simon Cowell's remarks that Aiken would be more fit on Broadway. Lyrics including "If I was invisible, I'd make you mine tonight," will most likely be embraced by many "Clay-maniacs."\nAlthough Aiken did not write any of the 12 songs on his album, he did receive help from Desmond Child, Cathy Dennis and even Enrique Iglesias, who co-wrote "The Way," which resembles an Iglesias song with sensual lyrics such as "In the way that you move me / in the way that you tease me / the way that I want you tonight."\nA majority of the CD is love songs with the exception of a bonus cut of "This is the Night" and his title single.\n"Measure of a Man" is a different type of love song. Instead of focusing on how to woo a woman, this song focuses on how women measure men in such terms as bravery, commitment and selfishness. \nOther catchy tunes on the album include "I Will Carry You," "When You Say You Love Me," "No More Sad Songs," and "Touch," his only other up-tempo beat besides "Invisible."\n"I Will Carry You" is about helping and supporting a loved one when he or she feels lost and depressed. "When your world breaks down ... when your dreams give out / I will carry you" are some lyrics that may offer comfort and confidence to Aiken fans. \n"When You Say You Love Me" is a lighthearted song with a country flavor. Listeners can snap their fingers and clap to this song because of the easygoing beat. \nSince the CD begins and ends with his only two up-tempo songs, die-hard Aiken fans will find it easy to listen to this CD from start to finish. Also, included with the album is a medium-sized poster of Aiken himself. \nThe only disappointing factor of the CD is that it doesn't include the words to sing along with the album. But true "Clay-maniacs" will surely make up their own words to sing alongside their favorite "American Idol" finalist.
