Flight diverted to Indianapolis because of unruly passenger

INDIANAPOLIS - A Northwest Airlines flight was diverted Thursday to Indianapolis International Airport after a male passenger became unruly, officials said.\nAfter Flight 1821 made its unscheduled landing about 11:30 a.m., authorities removed the man from the Airbus A319 and the flight continued on its Detroit-to-Mexico City route, said Mary Beth Schubert, a spokeswoman at Northwest's Minneapolis headquarters.\nShe declined to give specifics of the man's behavior, which she said were "disruptive to the passengers and crew."\nOfficials with the FBI and U.S. Transportation Safety Agency were questioning the man at the airport's police station, airport spokesman Dennis Rosebrough said.\nThe plane was carrying 58 passengers.
