2 dead in car shooting

Bloomington police are investigating the death of a man and woman who were found in a car Monday night.\nPolice said the male victim had a single gunshot wound in the head.\nThe victims were found in a red Pontiac Grand Prix with local plates on West Third Street just east of Patterson Road. Police closed the street and surrounded the car, which was still running.\nDetective Sgt. David Drake, who is leading the case, guessed the victims are in their early 30s. He said a 9-milimeter semiautomatic handgun was found in the car.\nThe call first came in to Bloomington Police Department dispatchers as an automobile accident.
