Students get shafted by new football seats

Indiana football needs fans in the seats and that starts with the student body. Who ever made the decision to move the students to the bleachers has mush for brains. I am a 53-year-old alum who wants to see students and the band back on the 50-yard line.\nYes, alums give the money and need to be placated, but students also deserve to have good unified seating, whether at football or basketball. Other big sports institutions seem to be able to make it work. We have just elected a new young board member who ran on the principles of being an advocate for the students. He needs to be called. We need to work in getting students to the game, and sitting on a high school bleacher situation will give them more reason to tailgate or not come at all. Students deserve better and alums need to live with that notion.
