IUSA unveils rules for Corvette raffle

All registered IU students will be entered in a drawing for a $50,000 cream and crimson Corvette. Dean of Students Richard McKaig will administer the raffle via a computer-generated system. \nThe IU Student Association held a press conference in Dunn Meadow today to display the sports car that has sparked much legal controversy in the last few weeks.\nIUSA President Bill Gray gave a prepared speech, unveiled the rules and answered questions concerning the legitimacy of the raffle that once allowed only eligible voters to enter, while excluding international students.\nThe Corvette will now be on display surrounded by a chain-linked fence, barbed wire and security cameras in the southwest corner of Dunn Meadow until after the Nov. 5 elections. The winner will be announced Nov. 8.
