A man walked into the People's State Bank Friday afternoon, robbing the bank of $5,500 dollars. Friday's robbery was the second robbery within three days in the Bloomington area. No suspects have yet to be arrested in connection with this robbery.\nAccording to police reports, around 1:43 p.m., a male walked into the bank, located at 3400 W. Third St., and handed the cashier a note with words "Give me the money. Have a gun. Will kill you. No dye packs."\nThe bank was empty when the man walked through the south entrance of the bank and approached the teller. According to police reports, the teller said she got the impression the robber had done this before from his words and actions. The man handed the teller a note, telling her he wanted all the money -- no bait money. She did not see a gun.\nThe teller handed the man $5,500 dollars and he left out the same door.\nThe man is described as a caucasian male, five-foot eight-inches, 20-25 years old, brown hair and approximately 150 lbs. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a red ball cap with an "I" on the front, a dark-colored, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.\nA black Jeep Laredo was spotted leaving hurriedly around the time of the robbery. In the vehicle was a caucasian male driver along with a caucasian female passenger.\nAnyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department at 339-4477.
