The IU women's tennis team split its road matches this weekend. The Hoosiers traveled to Madison, Wis., on Saturday and beat the Badgers 4-3 but lost 4-3 to Minnesota on Sunday. IU is 14-6 overall and 3-3 in conference play. \nThe Hoosiers grabbed the doubles point against Wisconsin, which led to the eventual victory. At the No.1 position, junior Karie Schlukebir and sophomore Linda Tran won in a tiebreaker, 9-8 (5). IU also picked up a win at the No. 2 position.\nAfter picking up the doubles point, IU and the Badgers split the singles matches. At No. 1, senior Amanda Field won 6-2, 6-3. At No. 5, freshman Dominika Walterova won 3-6, 6-3, 6-1, and freshman Inga Radel stretched her winning streak to nine after winning 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, at No. 3.\nBut winning the doubles point wasn't as helpful against Minnesota. The Hoosiers took two of the three doubles matches as Schlukebir and Tran won 8-2 at the No. 1 position and Radel and Walterova had an 8-3 victory. \nBut IU was only able to pick up two wins in the singles as Radel at No. 3 won her 23rd match of the spring, beating her opponent 6-2, 6-2. The only other singles win came at the No. 6 position, where junior J.J. Levin won 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
