The Counting Crows have canceled their previously scheduled Oct. 30 performance at the IU Auditorium. Ticket holders can obtain a refund at the point of purchase starting this morning.\nThe concert was sponsored by Union Board. Concerts Director Andy Proctor, a senior, was told Friday by tour management that the show was canceled because of "scheduling conflicts." Proctor hadn't received any further explanation by press time Sunday. \n"As of now, it's canceled, it's not postponed," Proctor said.\n"This in no way reflects on Union Board," he said. "This decision came from Counting Crows."\nAn Internet pre-sale for the concert was held Wednesday and Thursday, and the public sale began 10 a.m. Friday. Proctor estimated that about 2,000 tickets had been sold before the cancellation was announced Friday afternoon.\nFor the complete story, see Tuesday's IDS.
