Chesney's latest 'No Problem'

Kenny Chesney
No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem
BMG Kenny Chesney's new album, No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem embraces the joys of the simple life. Chesney rocks out and serenades with a divine country accent derived from Luttrell, Tennessee. Chesney mixes together a country and Caribbean flavor throughout a lot of the album. His tales of love, fishing and drinking are full of passion and catchy lyrics. His last studio album gave life to the hit singles, "How Forever Feels," "You Had Me From Hello" and "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy," which were clear examples of Kenny's talent at pop/country melody. Chesney's heart is still in the right place. He tries to point the direction to paradise. Kenny's first single, "Young" is knee-deep with emotional experiences and reminisces about falling in love, breaking up, partying and moving on. "The Good Stuff" is a good honky-tonk drinking song that tries to pinpoint what is most important about living. "Big Star" is a fun song about every little girl's fairy tale coming at a price. Chesney sings, "All the neighbors swear she slept her way to the top/ But she know you don't get where you're going unless you've got something they ain't got." The message behind this song is that dreams do come true and sometimes at a price, but the passion to keep chasing after them is priceless. Even though Chesney was voted "Country's Hottest Bachelor," he isn't afraid to admit his insecurities in "A Lot of Things Different." The song is about regrets, missed opportunities and how they define each of us. It may be a song about heartbreak, but his emotions towards youth, love and family are heart warming. "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" is another drinking song which is sure to be a jukebox favorite. It's about valuing life and love and not taking things at appearance. The soothing harmonies, sweet ballads and rocking anthems make No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem a priceless listen. Although, there are no clear examples of musical innovation, there are a handful of songs that capture the essence of music worth listening to. Chesney's new album is wonderfully produced and written. It's a cd collection gem.
