Team winless in Big Ten matchups

The IU men's tennis team stretched its losing streak to seven after dropping a 6-1 match to Purdue on Saturday and losing 6-1 to Illinois. The Hoosiers are 6-10, 0-4 on the season.\nThe No. 3 Fighting Illini picked up all but one point in the match against the Hoosiers Sunday. The one loss for the Illini was at the No. 1 singles, where Milan Rakvica snapped Illini sophomore Brian Wilson's five-match win streak in a 6-0, 7-5 victory.\nThe Illini started the match strong, sweeping each match to pick up the doubles point.\nAgainst Purdue on Saturday, the Hoosiers lost the doubles point after picking up only one victory in the competition. At the No. 2 position, seniors Milan Rakvica and Ari Widlansky managed to get a victory, and are 1-1 on the season. \nThe Hoosiers are back to competition April 6 and 7 at home against Minnesota and Wisconsin, respectively.
