IUPD Blotter

The following activity was reported by the IUPD:\nJan. 19\n• Nonstudent John D. Houchin, resident of Indianapolis, reported being assaulted at Briscoe Quad. The investigation is continuing.\n• Graduate student Michael Garner, resident of Foster Quad, reported the theft of a rodeo belt buckle from the Foster center desk. Estimated loss is $125.\n• Nonstudent Paul M. Fulkerson, 18, resident of Angola, Ind., was arrested at Jordan Avenue and Linglebach Lane for possession of marijuana, possession of alcohol and resisting law enforcement.\n• A female juvenile, resident of Munster, Ind., was referred to Juvenile Probation for theft from Urban Outfitters. \n• Nonstudent Shannon L. Gardner, 20, resident of Kentucky, was cited at Atwater and Woodlawn avenues for illegal consumption.\n• A female juvenile, resident of Kentucky, was referred to Juvenile Probation for illegal consumption.\n• Sophomore Stephanie A. Wambach, 20, resident of East Eighth Street, was cited at Willkie Quad South Lobby for possession of alcohol.\n• A female juvenile, resident of Louisville, Ky., was cited at Atwater and Woodlawn avenues for illegal consumption.\n• Nonstudent Matthew A. Franklin, 19, resident of Prospect, Ky., was cited at Atwater and Woodlawn avenues for illegal consumption.

Jan. 20\n• Nonstudent Nathaniel J. Pairitz, 21, resident of East Hillside Drive, was arrested at Kirkwood and Indiana avenues for operating while intoxicated.\n• A referral was turned in to the Juvenile Probation Department involving one male. Several criminal offenses were noted.

Jan. 22\n• Graduate student Carl Gabrielse, resident of East 10th Street, reported the theft of a bicycle from the south side of the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Estimated loss is $700.

Jan. 23\n• Freshman Nicolas Baytler, resident of Foster Quad, reported the theft of basketball tickets from his room. Estimated loss is $302.\n• Freshman Peter Hinnefeld, resident of Read Center, reported the theft of his bicycle from the Student Building. Estimated loss is $110.\n• Non-degree certificate student Seiko Ishiwaka, resident of Eigenmann Hall, reported the theft of articles from the Main Library. Estimated loss is $122.\n• Junior Chris Wendling, resident of North Jordan Avenue, reported the theft of his wallet from his residence. Estimated loss is $122.
