Scholarship offered in memory of student slain at church\nIn remembrance of Won-Joon Yoon, an IU graduate student who was killed in 1999 as he was entering a Bloomington church, the Office of Student Financial Assistance is offering a $2,500 scholarship open to any IU undergraduate or graduate student.\nCandidates must be full-time students pursuing IU degrees and may nominate themselves or be nominated by IU faculty. They must submit a statement of 750 words or less describing what they have done to advance religious and racial understanding and what they hope to accomplish toward these goals as well as in their academic programs. \nCandidates should also submit a resume and three letters of recommendation.\nAll materials should be sent to the Won-Joon Yoon Scholarship Committee, Bryan Hall 205.
