RPS employee dies at Collins Center

IU employee John Fluke, 46, of Nashville, was pronounced dead Friday evening at Bloomington Hospital after being found unconscious at Collins Center.\nFluke, an employee of Residential Programs and Services, never regained consciousness.\nFluke was found in Edmunson Hall at 5:40 p.m. Friday, according to the IU Police Department. Supervisors went to search for Fluke because he had failed to clock out, said Pat Connor, director of RPS.\nMonroe County Coroner Dave Toumey is investigating the death.\n"I don't believe the coroner saw any evidence of foul play," said IU police Lt. Jerry Minger. "We were called over because of medical assistance. The EMTs tried to revive Mr. Fluke but I'm not sure if he ever regained consciousness."\nRead tomorrow's IDS for more information.
