'IDS' to be applauded for upholding Constitutional rights

As a black woman, I am writing to applaud you for printing David Horowitz's "10 Reasons Why Reparations for Slavery is a Bad Idea." It was brave to print such a controversial ad in spite of the pressures to censor free speech from various groups on campus. Though I disagree with some of Horowitz's points, I believe his overall claim is valid and any effort to suppress the ad should be viewed as an effort to deprive Horowitz of his First Amendment rights.
