Police arrested a man after a fight at Kilroy's on Kirkwood, 502 E. Fifth St., early Wednesday morning, police said. Another man said he had been struck with a fist and was shouted at as he left the bar, police reports said. \nAfter the man fell to the ground, the first man continued to hit him, police said. \nPolice said the victim was bleeding from the mouth and said he could feel several of his teeth chipped. \nAfter investigating, police identified a suspect. They subsequently arrested Jeffery S. Chandler, 23, a resident of 1100 N. Jordan Ave., at his fraternity house, police said. Chandler told police he was defending himself, police reports said. \nChandler was released Wednesday from the Monroe County Correctional Center on $500 cash bond and $500 surety bond.
