Columnist not afraid to print truth

I am writing in response to the Nov. 28 column titled, "We're all to blame for slavery," by Chris Edwards. \nI want to express my gratitude and amazement that this young man spoke the truth in his column. I say gratitude because I am encouraged that at least some of the young people of today see the truth. I say amazement because it shocked me to see the truth in print in the IDS. The IDS is not known for its conservative bent. I offer my congratulations to Edwards on a piece well written, and I encourage him to continue his stance for the truth, although he will find himself, no doubt, in the middle of a whirlwind of outcry. Stand your ground, sir! When more and more people see the truth written in a noncombative, factual way, then the truth will finally set us free. \nMy hat is off to you, Mr. Edwards!
