After little more than a year, the husband and wife duo Whitehorse have already managed to tour much of the US and release a sophomore album, The Road to Massey Hall, in anticipation of their date with Toronto's famous performing arts theater. Their sound, a blend of "mesmerizing guitar work" and "smoldering vocal chemistry" that also manages a keyboard and a telephone receiver drone, rides mostly on its simple, yet swinging and memorable guitar riffs. Whitehorse will play the Bishop tomorrow night with the Canadian acoustic musician Daniel Romano.
