After one half of play, Minnesota leads IU 30-29.

Gophers freshman center Amanda Zahui B leads all scorers with 13 points on 66.6 percent shooting from the field. Freshman guard Alexis Gassion led the Hoosiers with nine.

Both teams' leading scorers struggled from the field in the first half. Freshman guard Larryn Brooks had only three points on 1-of-8 shooting from the field for IU, while Minnesota junior guard Rachel Banham had just seven points on 3-of-10 shooting from the field.

Overall, IU shot 12-of-38 from the field while Minnesota shot 13-of-32. The Hoosiers struggled from the free throw line the most, shooting just 1-of-6.
