Hey folks,

Back today by popular demand and with some big news: Micah Johnson, middle infielder up at Park Tudor in Indianapolis and widely held as one of the best (if not the best) recruit(s) in the state of Indiana, committed to play baseball for Tracy Smith and the Hoosiers over the weekend.

Johnson was present at Hoosier Hysteria at the behest of one Tom Crean, and whether he handed it over then or before I do not know. But John Decker of Hoosier Nation reported during Friday night's action that Johnson chose IU over Arizona, and assuming he doesn't go pro, he will be wearing Cream and Crimson this time next year.

We'll try to catch up with Johnson some time soon, though between IU football coverage on Ryan's plate and IU basketball coverage on mine, things have gotten a bit hectic. We will do our very best to sit down with Tracy Smith at least one more time before the semester is out, when we will turn the beat over to younger, more capable hands. Take it easy.
