The Mersey Beatles, a Beatles tribute band, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
The Liverpool-born Beatles tribute band is set to return to Bloomington as it goes through its national tour. The Mersey Beatles are the official Beatles tribute band representing the City of Liverpool, according to a press release from the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
The band was the resident tribute band at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, where the Beatles used to perform, and is endorsed by John Lennon’s sister, the director of The Cavern Club.
Since 1999, the Mersey Beatles have played shows in over 20 countries, recreating the Beatles’ sound by using replica Hofner, Rickenbacker and Gretsch guitars and VOX and Ludwig gear, according to the press release.
Tickets for seats in the balcony range from $15 to $32, and tickets for seats in the orchestra area range from $22 to $45.
