Indiana attorney general plans to appeal federal judge's decision blocking abortion restrictions

Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill said the state plans to appeal a Friday court ruling on abortion restrictions. On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Walton Pratt struck down an Indiana abortion law signed by then-Gov. Mike Pence in March 2016 with a permanent injunction. The law placed stricter requirements on women who seek abortions and doctors who provide them.  Planned Parenthood and the ACLU said in a press release that they were pleased with Pratt’s decision. IU earns hard-fought win over Notre Dame

The No. 1-ranked IU men’s soccer team posted its most impressive win of the season Tuesday night, defeating No. 7 Notre Dame 1-0 at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington. Junior midfielder Austin Panchot’s 67th-minute goal lifted the Hoosiers to victory. Read more here. 


Elimination of Prejudice Week tackles Islamophobia

As part of their Elimination of Prejudice Week, Pi Lambda Phi fraternity organized a discussion about the misconceptions of Islam in Western culture.  Fraternity brothers will also set up "The Wall" on 10th Street Wednesday to help start conversations about prejudice. Read more here.


DIAVOLO performs high-energy acrobatic dance at IU

The cast of Diavolo performs "Cubicle," the first of a two-part piece entitled "L.O.S.T." ("Losing One's Self Temporarily") on Tuesday at the IU Auditorium. Diavolo is an acrobatic dance group that placed in the top 10 of season 12 of "America's Got Talent".

Los Angeles dance group DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion performed its show, “LOST,” Tuesday night at the IU Auditorium. The group strives to create “visceral and awe-inspiring works that reveal how humans are affected emotionally, physically, and socially by the spaces we inhabit,” and recently received a top-10 finish on “America’s Got Talent.” Read more here.
