IU wins Indiana Invitational

The IU women’s volleyball team won its second straight invitational last weekend, defeating Cleveland State and Georgia Tech en route to the Indiana Invitational championship.

After junior middle blocker Samantha Thrower managed three straight kills to cap off a five-set Senior Night victory against the Iowa Hawkeyes, the collective feeling of relief could be felt throughout University Gym.

Saturday brings senior night for team

The weekend begins Friday as No. 2 Nebraska volleyball travels to Bloomington for the first time in school history. In the teams’ first meeting of season, the Cornhuskers swept the Hoosiers in Lincoln, Neb.
