Men's Basketball vs. Ohio State

Column: IU outmatched against one of nation's best teams

In IU's 85-67 loss Friday to Ohio State - the nation's No. 2-ranked team, an undefeated team that looks primed to win the Big Ten, and a team that was so clearly better than the Hoosiers that the game was at times painful to watch - it's tough to fault IU.

Ohio State shoots past IU, 85-67

Jon Diebler and William Buford shot a combined 10-for-12 from the 3-point line to lead No. 2 Ohio State (14-0) past IU (9-6) 85-67 on New Year's Eve at Assembly Hall. Buford led all scorers with 24 points.

Watford scores fewest points of season against Penn State

Watford, who entered Monday leading IU (9-5) in scoring with 18.3 points per game, managed just three points against the Nittany Lions (8-4). It marked his lowest point total of the season as well as the first time he failed to score in double figures.

IU loses to Colorado, goes winless in Las Vegas

Despite a late comeback attempt by IU, the Hoosiers fell to Colorado 78-69 on Thursday night at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The team finished 0-2 in the Las Vegas Classic, a holiday tournament and tuneup for Big Ten play.

IU falls to Northern Iowa in Vegas, 67-61

Sophomore forward Derek Elston scored a career-high 19 points but the IU men's basketball team lost to Northern Iowa 67-61 on Wednesday at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.






IU vs. Kentucky

2nd-chance points slow Hoosiers at Kentucky

IU kept Kentucky to just 36 percent shooting Saturday at Rupp Arena, but the Wildcats pulled down 18 offensive boards in total and outscored the Hoosiers 21-4 in second-chance points.

IU falls to Kentucky 81-62

LEXINGTON, Ky. – IU played Kentucky tough for the first 30 minutes of the game on Saturday at Rupp Arena.Unfortunately for the Hoosiers, they fell apart down the stretch in an 81-62 loss to the Wildcats.
