Pottery on display at Annual Holiday Show

The Bloomington Local Clay Potters Guild played host to its 16th Annual Holiday Show and Sale at the church Friday and Saturday.

IU snaps 3-game skid, beats Illinois 52-35

IU ended its three-game losing streak Saturday at Memorial Stadium by defeating Illinois (3-6, 0-5) 52-35 after ending the game by scoring 17 unanswered points.

IU wins season-opener 100-72

Largely fueled by 55 free throws stemming by 36 personal fouls by Chicago State, the IU men’s basketball team pulled off the team’s first win of the season with ease, defeating the Cougars 100-72 Friday night at Assembly Hall.

Student stabbed in lip with pen

A 19-year-old male IU student standing outside McNutt Quad was stabbed in the lip with a pen by unknown assailants, according to an IU Police Department report.
