Freshman Seger paces Hoosiers, IU finishes ninth

The IU men’s golf team struggled to find a rhythm in a talented field at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette this weekend. They finished in a tie for ninth place out of 15 teams.

But now she’s on the green, a chance to get some sort of redemption from the devilish hole at Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, Ind. where her team, IU women’s golf, competed in the season’s first event Sept. 8.
