For IU women’s basketball senior forward Aulani Sinclair, the free-throw mechanics have long been locked in. But as a junior last season, Sinclair shot 90.7 percent from the line, a nearly 20 percent increase from the year before.

Bob Knight to sell old championship hardware

After leading the IU men’s basketball team to three national titles in 1976, 1981 and 1987 as well as coaching the USA team that won Olympic gold in 1984, former IU Coach Bob Knight has decided to sell several pieces of hardware to raise money for his grandchildrens’ college funds.

They show up early for tickets; he stays late for toilets. You might call him the janitor, but ESPN calls him one of the top 10 fans in the world.

Students will receive five points for each set of season tickets they have purchased for football or men’s basketball while at IU, with a maximum of 10 points per year. Students with the most priority points will be given seats in the lower bowl of Assembly Hall for highly anticipated home games.
