Friends and family attended a memorial service Wednesday evening to celebrate the life of Peter Duong. Following words from Peter's closest friends and prayers led by Father Robert Keller and Rabbi Susan Shifron, those in attendance took a candlelit walk to the site of the accident and returned to McNutt for a reception with one of Peter's favorite foods: ice cream.

Indianapolis Power & Light is hoping to have a contract with the state signed within the next few weeks which would allow the private company limited rights to 329.5 million gallons of water annually in case of emergency. Lake Monroe is the area's primary source of drinking water, with the lake's water treatment plant currently averaging about 15 million gallons of water per day.
