Ostrom, a political science professor, is the first woman to win the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. She was praised "for her analysis of economic governance, especially the commons." A man who introduced himself as "Cowboy Bob" leads a camel through Dunn Meadow Tuesday evening to promote the upcoming Phi Kappa Psi formal. Phi Psi fraternity members walked ahead of the camel dressed in desert garb inviting people to the formal.
Lotus Festival
Los de Abajo's horn section sings background vocals Friday evening in the Mallor Clendening Grodner & Bohrer tent between Grant and Lincoln streets. The political band got their name from a Mariano Azuela novel of the same name about the Mexican Revolution.

L'Italiana in Algeri
